We are hiring on behalf of a fast-growing e-commerce company in the Gulf region seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Technical Support Specialist. This is a full-time, remote opportunity open to candidates across the MENA region.
About the Role
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for resolving technical issues and ensuring seamless customer and internal team experiences. You will be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving a wide range of technical concerns related to the companys e-commerce platform, tools, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance and support to customers and internal users via email, chat, and support ticketing systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the e-commerce platform, integrations, payment gateways, and other system functionalities.
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate technical teams, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to communicate user-reported bugs and feature requests.
Maintain and update internal knowledge bases and support documentation.
Assist in testing and QA of new features and system updates prior to release.
Analyze support patterns and work with stakeholders to propose long-term solutions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective solutions.
Who You Are
Proven experience in technical support, helpdesk, or a related IT support role, preferably in the e-commerce or SaaS space.
Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, databases, and customer-facing platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar tools.
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
