Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer (L2/L3) with strong expertise in server administration, firewall management, and Avaya systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring system security and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Server Administration:

• Manage and maintain Windows & Linux servers (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
• Perform server installations, upgrades, and patch management.
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Ensure backup and disaster recovery solutions are in place and tested.
• Manage virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V.

2. Firewall & Network Security:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, SonicWall, etc.).
• Implement security policies, VPNs, and network segmentation for data protection.
• Monitor intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Conduct periodic network security audits and vulnerability assessments.

3. Avaya Systems Administration:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Avaya IP telephony and PBX systems.
• Maintain and optimize Avaya Call Center solutions, VoIP, SIP trunks.
• Support call routing, IVR configuration, and integration with other systems.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for telephony systems.

4. Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide L2/L3 support for complex IT issues related to servers, firewalls, and Avaya.
• Handle escalated incidents and ensure timely resolution within SLAs.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

5. Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain detailed documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and SOPs.
• Ensure IT policies comply with security and regulatory standards.
• Conduct training and provide knowledge transfer to junior IT staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
✅ Certifications (Preferred): CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Certified (MCSA/MCSE), Fortinet NSE, Avaya Certifications.
✅ Experience: 4-8 years of experience in IT support, with expertise in servers, firewalls, and Avaya.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration.
• Experience in firewall security, VPN, and network segmentation.
• Hands-on expertise with Avaya IP telephony and call center solutions.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, VMware, and cloud-based services (Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
