Cashier Full Time

Job Summary:

The Cashier will be responsible for obtaining payment for equipment’s by itemizing and totaling customer’s purchases in autoplus.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES

• Customer Service: Greet customers when entering or leaving establishments
• Payments: Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Invoices: Prepare and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Counting Till: Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Compliance: Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Pricing: Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.
• Customer Complaints: Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
• Policies & Procedures: Maintain checkout operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform ad-hoc task as per Accounts Manager’s requirements.

Job requirements

• To be a successful Cashier, you should have excellent customer service and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to process payments accurately and efficiently.
• To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
• Diploma or equivalent
• 2–3 years of cashier or front-desk experience (automotive industry preferred)
• Familiarity with POS systems, billing software, and MS Office
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Honest, reliable, and professional demeanor.
