Job Summary:

The Lifting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating lifting activities on site to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.

Job Responsibility:
– Supervise lifting operations to ensure they are conducted safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
– Develop and implement lifting plans in coordination with the project team.
– Conduct pre-job meetings to review lifting requirements and safety procedures with the lifting team.
– Inspect lifting equipment regularly and ensure that it is in good working condition.
– Monitor and enforce compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to lifting operations.
– Investigate and report any incidents or near misses related to lifting activities.
– Provide training and guidance to lifting team members on best practices and safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements:
– Proven experience working as a Lifting Supervisor or a similar role in a construction or industrial setting.
– In-depth knowledge of lifting equipment, techniques, and regulations.
– Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management in lifting operations.
– Excellent communication and leadership skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
– Certification in rigging and lifting operations would be an advantage.
